Recently I posted about Chris Askham 1st pass at capturing the look of Joe Pineapples ready for his strip in ZARJAZ.
Well Chris is at it again.
Here, he muses on the version of Joe as depicted by Bisley.

Bristol was a great weekend to catch-up with folks, and to finally meet a few folk out there in the real world that I hadn’t met before.
Gibson Quarter is one of the mainstays of the FQP artists, and it was awesome to finally meet the man himself, and he was sat right next to us all weekend! He chata about his time Here!
I have provisionally managed to get two, not one, professional artists to provide the covers for FutureQuake 16 and Something Wicked 06. Both of these will be on sale for the Birmingham gig in October, which is also when the Eagles are going to be announced.
And that is that. I have now packed the last set of the previous volume of Zarjaz. The first issue to completely sell-out was the last issue- the anniversary special.
I still have some copies of the other issues: 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 available- but they will not be going in the shop as numbers are so low.
If anyone reading this wants to get any of the older issues- please drop me an email and hopefully we can fulfill your thrills for you.
Fresh back from Bristol where a great time was had by all (sorted a couple of cracking artists for the end of year covers) to discover that the Eagle awards are up and running for 2010.

Futurequake has made it to the finals twice before, in 2007 and again in 2008 (there were no awards in 2009) so this makes it three times in a row for FutureQuake.
Here are the details I posted earlier about which titles were eligible for FQP.
Please click the link at the top of the page to help make it third time lucky for us here at FQP!
He’s Back! The Beak reviews Zarjaz 09 over on 2000 AD- That reminds me of this.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4 bring the review to a close.
Interesting reading from a well thought out series of reviews.
Chris Askham has posted a rather nifty pic of Joe Pineapples over on his blog, as he begins to prep for his strip for ZARJAZ 11.
2000 AD: That Reminds me of this… Has started it’s review of the recent Zarjaz 09.
