Over on Imaginary Stories, Zarjaz & FQP Writer LEE ROBSON muses on his ‘In-the’works’ strip featuring Hammerstein.
Kev Levell has posted the above on his blog, which is his first warm up for his Dredd strip for a later Zarjaz. Written by Lee Robson- this is a rollercoaster ride of Dredd action that will leave damaged thrill-baffles across the galaxy!
Chris Askham is at it again- here is his third run at Joe in prep for his strip for Zarjaz 11.
2000 AD prog 1687 contains a first for Tharg- His first script from Robert Murphy.
Regular readers to FQP may well recognise robert as being the writer behind ‘THE TWIST’ in Something wicked 03, with artist Paul Carter. He was also responsible for ‘WORLD CONQUEST’ in the Eagle award nominated FQ12, with art by George Coleman.
Robert is also collaborating with George again to bring us ‘PAWNSHOP HEART’ that is hopefully going to be in Something Wicked 06, later this year.
Congratulations to Robert, here’s hoping to see you once again in the pages of 2000 AD
Over on Millarworld, they have been running what amounts to open auditions for the upcoming CLiNT Mag, of which FQ has had multiple entries. Some of which I didn’t even know of till I looked just.
The first was a reworking of ‘THE JOY OF TEXT’ (Image is a bit NSFW- IMO) by Paul Glasswell & Simon Penter (Who coloured the pages all special-like)
The second is ‘THE PROPHET’ by Derek Hamill & Andy Scordellis.
There are are also older strips up there too:
Outer Space FQ01 by Art Wyatt and Ade Bamforth (Though Art has posted the pages in the wrong order)
The Injuries of Mr Indestructible from FQ04 and the FQP family Special, by Eddie Robson and Julia Bax
You can read the strips by clicking on the links, and I’ve now posted a link to the FQ site and mentioned that we are eligible for the Eagles this year.
