Hi all – Zarjaz 37 is due to be on sale in 4 weeks, July 1st to be exact so I have been juggling running orders for the comic for a few weeks.
I’ve been balancing out strips already completed, alongside those commissioned with a relevant deadline, to build a strong running order for the summer issue.
As of today, that running order is decided and the rest of the editorial team have been informed and started their work towards getting the issue finished.
If you have a completed and ‘locked for print’ strip waiting for Zarjaz, then you may have gotten an email from me this morning. If you did, then I’m sorry as that was the email letting folk know they are being held over to next issue.
If you are working on a strip for Zarjaz, and have not had confirmation that your strip is ‘locked for print’ then it is not finished yet, so is not going to be in the new issue.
Zarjaz only has 44 pages of strip each issue, so building an issue is a matter of availability and balance.
This is awkward, as many of you out there have worked hard to hit the deadline I gave you only to be told you are not running. I apologise for this and thank you again for all the work. Remember, no-one gets paid at Zarjaz. We are all doing this for the love of comics.
Thanks again and I hope to share more from Zarjaz 37 in the next week.
